Edna Provart Cornia

	Edna Provart Cornia, 79, of Christopher, passed away at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2000 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin.
	Edna was a homemaker and a member of the Paradise Baptist Church at Tamaroa and a member of the Perry County Home Extension.
	She was born August 13, 1921 at Tamaroa, the daughter of Fred Guy and Anna (Bauer) Corgan.  She married Ray Provart in 1955 at DuQuoin and he preceded her in death on April 18, 1970.  She then married Frank Cornia in 1975 at the Paradise Baptist Church and he preceded her in death on February 27, 1998.
	She is survived by one son- Phillip Provart and wife Jean of DuQuoin, two grandchildren- Steve and Sara Provart, both of DuQuoin, three sisters- Anna Belle Moore, Norma Nickens and Beryl Lynch, all of Tamaroa, sister-in-law-Hazel Corgan of Tamaroa and several nieces and nephews, including special niece Brenda Mines.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and one brother- Harry Corgan.
	Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. thursday, September 21 at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin with Rev. Shaw DeMent and Rev. Larry Shacklee officiating.  Interment was in the Paradise Cemetery at Tamaroa.
	Friends called from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin.
